My new cube...

Again, I bought a new cube just now before I went to tuition. I wanted the cube for a long time after trying it for 2 times and I've read the review from Youtube. That's really a good cube and now I have it =)

It's a Dian Sheng 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. It's really a smooth cube and it allows me to speed! It's loose enough, but it doesn't mean that it loose until can be turn 360 degrees. And yet, it's not stucking at all! I really love this cube. However, it's cheap and I think it will become over loose after some days, especially after being speedcubed for a certain period of time.

However, it's hard for you to get one in Miri. Don't be excited if you see it in Miri. There are products that imitate the real one!

They look identical! However, there is one difference. For the real product, the logo at the center of the white face is darker, compared with the fake one. I bought both of them with same price! I've disposed the imitated product, but I can tell you how you can prevent from buying the imitated one.

This is the original Dian Sheng cube. It's real, no worries, because I saw it in the internet and those who have posted they reviews in the Youtube also mention it. It's in English version and for sure, the guide book given is in English. You can see the guide book at the back of the packing. For the imitated one, the guide book and even the product are in Chinese. The imitated cube is really terrible. It's very loose, but not smooth. Stucking every time I make a turn. Totally terrible.

Some may think, I'm forking out a lot of money in cubes. Yes, I admit that I've spent a lot of money in cubes, but this is my interest. My mum also questions me for few times, but I have my own reasons. "Don't you think I'm better than those who are using their money for making up, buying fancy clothing, computer games and other celebrity's products?" She'll still speak out her disagreement but I know she agrees what I say.

I rather spend my money on buying things that can improve my blood circulation. (Lols, this is just an excuse.) Well, I admit that I'm crazy in Rubik's cube but at least I'm not as crazy as other people that want to spend a lot of money just to make a good and stylish hairstyle, or buying something that will not give any positive values.

Some people ask me what I don't want to buy a Toys R Us' cube. I'm using them for almost a month time and what I can say is I don't feel mush ease with them. Only 3x3x3 is smooth at the beginning. Other like 2x2x2, 4x4x4 and 5x5x5, I feel my fingers very pain and turn red after cubing for less than 10 minutes. I don't know why, my 3x3x3 tends to become less smooth. Thus, I decided to get myself a new cube.

And another thing. Toy R Us' cubes are original? Yes, original from Rubik's Official Site, but the design of them aren't original anymore.

I broke my 2x2x2 last week because of overturning. I never disassemble 2x2x2 cube before and I have no notion that how I can reassemble the cube. Thus, I googled it on how to reassemble a 2x2x2 cube. I saw the guideline and I noticed that I cannot reassemble my cube using the guideline given.

Have a glance of the photo above. Those are the things that they get after disassembling a competition grade 2x2x2 cube.

These were what I got after the cube been broken. What differences can you find? Obviously, there are missing parts. However, I found out the main reason why the cube isn't smooth.

The core! The core is built in one of the pieces! And what I noticed is, the spacing is really very narrow and yet it causes the cube pieces isn't freely moved. It must be turned in the fixed narrow orbit. Meaning that, if you're turning the layer that consist of this piece, it's not smooth. Oh my god... Look at the competition grade cube. The core is separated so that every piece can be moved freely.

Toy R Us' cubes??? I don't know whether I'll get it's cube or not. Maybe, I'll choose to purchase from the internet?

By the way, I've created a website a week ago. It;s about Rubik's cube! In this site, of course, I post about Rubik's cube and other puzzles solutions as well. Now, I've posted 3x3x3 Rubik's cube solution and 2x2x2 mini pocket cube solution! All the algorithms are used by me personally. Of course I learned them from other sources, but what I'm using is a mixture. For sure, I won't post cubes or puzzles that I still not yet solved. Now, I'm playing the 4x4x4 Revenge cube with my mum. My algorithms aren't full yet, I'll only post the tutorial after mastering it. My next goal might be pyraminx =)

Besides, I also post some amazing cubing video, like how a person solve a 3x3x3 Rubik's cube in 14 seconds, by using one hand only!
