Our SPM is approaching... Everyone is keeping eyes on the books but some might feel extremely tired recently. Yes, I'm the one but I'm not the only one...
Recalling back the past. Since I was in form 4, I started to listen these sorts of things from you. You keep asking us for not being active in to much extra activities. Yes, I do agree what you say. As students, our main task is study. However, the rationale that we involve in these things is because the government has made it compulsory to all the students.
I know that, sometime we're over. We spend too much time in those clubs and we've been lost in our study. But please, this isn't our fault. We contribute more, just to get the marks, just to carry out our responsibility and just to complete our tasks.
Yet, we're scolded by the people who give us the tasks, for contributing and sacrificing too much in those tasks. Is it we just plan to be oxymoronic?
NO!!!!!
And yet, I strongly feel that you don't have the qualification to scold us for involving too much in extra-curricular activities. Because, you're the same.
Your main job is to let us know what you know and what we should know. We go to school because we can get our needs from you. You scold us for not concentrating in study, but, you aren't focusing in your teaching too!
When a phone come, you answer it, and then you leave us.
When we receive an emergency task, we leave the class.
When there is a function, you don't come into our class because you're involved in the function.
When there is a function, we aren't in the class because we're involved in the function.
When there are something that carried our by your in charged club, you aren't in the class because you're there.
When our club has activities, we aren't in the class because we're there, too.
It seems like both of us have done wrong and don't completely carried out our responsibility. Well, we can apologize for not doing our tasks well.
HOWEVER......
When our official exam in coming, we then push ourselves to maximum to get what we've lost during the past to fulfill our responsibility, as students.
But, do you push yourself to the maximum and coach us, guide us?
Some of you do, but not all of you! Some of you are still going insane when your "beloved" clubs!
Your presence in our class aren't satisfied. Just because of this, we plan to study by ourselves when you aren't present. And yet, we've scolded by you, just because our presence doesn't satisfy you. But then, can we scold you because your presence doesn't satisfy us?
Some of you aren't doing your main task well. But, we've no choice we need to study without your presence. Yes, we did waste a lot of time but now we're paying for it. What about you? No, you don't pay for it. You don't carry out your job well, but we are the one who lose. At the end, we are still, carrying our responsibility, but own.
Hmm, yes.
We, are students.
You, are our fellow teachers.
You've dropped something - RESPONSIBILITY.
Do you ever truly concern about out feeling? Everytime, you just say that we don't know your feeling and we don't know that when you've sacrificed. You're scolding us with your piercing voice, and we're sobbing in our heart.
